Gatwick Airport is only 45 min away from the Venue, so we highly recommend choosing a flight to Gatwick.

If you are flying from Norway - Norwegian fly directly to Gatwick from Sola Airport.

Taxi from Gatwick

Taxis can be taken from Gatwick airport and take around 45 minutes. You can pre-book a taxi directly from the airport here: https://www.gatwickairport.com/transport-options/taxi.html

Train from Gatwick

Penshurst station is geographically closest to Bore place and the journey takes around 40 minutes. To get there, take the Thameslink service 2 stops to Redhill. At Redhill take the Southern service 4 stops to Penshurst.

Rail staff at both Gatwick airport and other stations are very helpful if you struggle finding the right platform or buying tickets.

If you are taking a taxi from Penshurst to Bore Place you must pre-book.

Pickups can be arranged from Penshurst Station. Please let Dave/Louise know in advance if you need picking up and what time you will require pick up.

If you are planning on travelling by train from London, we recommend the routes below:

Direct: A frequent Southeastern Service runs from London Charing Cross/Waterloo East/London Bridge to Sevenoaks station, which takes 30 minutes. Taxis are available from Sevenoaks stations and take 15 minutes.

1 change: Penshurst station can also be reached by taking a Southeastern train from the above stations, 2 stops to Tonbridge and changing onto a Southern service 2 stops. The journey takes around an hour.

If you are taking a taxi from Penshurst to Bore Place you must pre-book.

Pickups can be arranged from Penshurst Station. Please let Dave/Louise know in advance if you need picking up and what time you will require pick up.

Bore Place is an approximately 1 hour drive from London and 45 min from Gatwick Airport.

There is free parking at the venue, but no charging points for electrical vehicles. The nearest ones are located in Edenbridge.

Directions

Make for Chiddingstone. From the Causeway Stores/Post office in Chiddingstone Causeway, follow the B2027 west. Take the third turning on the right into Bore Place Road. It is signposted ‘Bore Place’.

If you are travelling from abroad and renting a car, please be aware that you will be driving down narrow country lanes (and you obviously have to drive on the left ;) ).
